Whether cases are submitted via digital intraoral scans or traditional impressions, all designs are created, validated and archived digitally, ensuring long-term traceability and reproducibility. This commitment to digital innovation ensures your patients benefit from the latest advancements in dental technology.

CLINICAL DENTAL TECHNICIAN
A Clinical Dental Technician (CDT) is a Dental Professional whose role lies somewhere between that of a dentist and a Dental Technician.
If you require a new denture you would usually go to your dentist and have impressions taken. These are then sent off to a Dental Laboratory where a Dental technician would cast the impressions and make the dentures before returning them to the dentist to be fitted. However, a CDT has the appropriate skills and qualifications to take on the role of a Dental Technician and also the Dentist in the provision of denture treatment. This means the clinician you see in surgery is the same person that makes your denture.

Here at CMB Dental Laboratory we are able to offer this CDT service. Our in-house CDT will work with you to provide a treatment plan with the aim for you to achieve your new smile.

If you don’t have any of your own natural teeth, a quick check-up with our dentist and you will be referred to our CDT for your treatment. If you do have any of your natural teeth your treatment will be a collaboration between our dentist and CDT. A dentist will correct any of your natural teeth that may need treatment and our CDT will provide denture treatment.

At the initial consultation, our CDT will provide you with information of different types of dentures that are available for your specific case and the procedures that are involved so that you can make an informed decision.
